Yet another Christmas is en route at full speed, and I’ve got no inventory!! Being a craftsperson with a full-time day job, volunteer commitments, and other hobbies is a challenge… but things look like they may be coming together…
Good sign #1 - my hardware shipped today!! Yay!! That means I can finish the 40 or so straps I have in pieces in my studio.
Good sign #2 - I got the okay to come to the scrapyard this weekend to cut out seat belts (the snow from last week has melted enough to get around the lot!)

Wow! Last post in July! Tumblverse, it has been a long time. I guess I got lost in the twittersphere. This post will syndicate, after all…
sftb update: my grandma’s Singer machine finally quit - I think it can be revived, but that will be something to tackle down the road. Meet Mitsu - my retro but new to me Mitsubishi industrial machine. Mitsu lives in my (bedroom) studio, in my mew apartment with my cat and mister.
New straps are in the making, shop should be full again in a few weeks!
Dear Josh,
Halifax would like to sing you happy birthday again this year. Please come visit us. We miss you. Thanks for making beautiful music. I look forward to reading your novel.
All my platonic love,
